We would like to thank Stamatis Lefkimiatis and his team for making our dream house in Corfu become a reality. In November 2007 we bought a plot of land and employed a developer to build us a house. A year later, we were in despair with many problems and were prepared to abandon the house and sell it half finished. We were introduced to Stamatis by a mutual acquaintance and he offered to restore our faith in the Corfiot people by finishing our house.
It is not easy to take over another person's project, but Stamatis has achieved this beyond our expectations. The house has been completed to a high specification within a reasonable budget. In addition, he has resolved the multitude of legal problems left by the other builder, including making sure IKA is up to date and getting our electricity installed.
One problem people encounter when having a house built is poor communication with the builder. We have not found this to be the case with Stamatis and his admin assistant Karen. They always respond promptly to phone calls and emails, even when we are not in Corfu. The workers stay on the job until it is finished and are punctual.
We are so confident in CDC's ability to deliver that we would be pleased to talk to any prospective clients and show them the work.
